Bot Band Jazz
Bot Band Jazz (2017) is a VR game in which the player has to fix different parts of a broken down theater in the form of mini-games to unlock an exciting show.
The intuitive VR experience was created for children by the age of 6 - 14 but has been loved by people of all ages ever since. Originally, the project was initiated by the Techniekmuseum HEIM in Hengelo, NL and takes a fun approach on the topic of electromagnetic radiation.
Bot Band Jazz was produced over the span of eight weeks by a team of seven people, consisting of two programmers, two designers and three artists. The game was developed in Unity3D.
My role as an artist was mostly 3D animation as well as character design and concept art. I also helped out with textures and managed the blog.
On the HEIM Gaming event, 5th July 2017, Bot Band Jazz was selected as one of the player favorites and my team was rewarded with the certificate of excellence.
Bot Band Jazz was also displayed at the Dutch Game Garden and participated in the Dutch Game Awards.

Back To Bed! (2016) is a VR game in which the player takes on the role of a little plush doll. The mission is to protect its owner from nightmares.
Back To Bed! was created for casual players by the age of 6 - 99 and was very popular at various the open days of Saxion University.
Back To Bed! was produced over the span of three weeks by a team of six people, consisting of two programmers, one designer and three artists. The game was developed in Unity3D.
My role as an artist was mostly 3D animation as well as character design texturing and concept art. I also helped out with game design.
